Well I quite enjoyed it. In fact I own the DVD so that should say something. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the best movie out there and would someone please turn off the lense flare filter but other wise I quite liked it.

As far as cast go I think they did a decent enough job at matching every one up (from my not too huge knowledge of Star Trek). I think I like Scotty the best simply because I’m a big fan of Simon Pegg. I also like Spock, simply because of Sylar (his real name I forget) but yay for Sylar’s actor!

As the story goes it’s always interesting to see how people deal with timetravel stories and paradoxes and such. I mean, they changed the reality by going back but does that mean that Romulan isn’t going to be swallowed by a black hole? Because they have some serious time to get ahead of that now and almost permanently secure a Romulan/Federation Alliance. All it would take during a heated meeting or such would be - 

‘Yeah I get where you’re coming from mate but, remember that time your planet was about to be destroyed…I sure do…How did that go? Who saved the day again?’ 

All in all I quite liked the movie. So yay. Thanks Anon!

Yeah heaps, I like most everything to a degree I guess. I have a weird preference where I can like one song in particular, not really be keen on anything else the band has done but still listen it all the time. Also I have a weird tendency to enjoy listening to a few certain songs over and over and over and over, without getting sick of them so I don’t really expand my musical tastes.

TL;DR - I like Ska (Reel Big Fish), Jazz/Bebop (The Seatbelts), Well written and good musically comedy songs (Tim Minchin), Uh what ever genre Cage the Elephant is? Stuff like that mostly, but I’m not opposed to listening to say Disturbed or what ever the fuck that Skrillex guy is.

EDIT: It’s come to my attention that my TL;DR section was just as long as the other. Oh well.
